SA's Super Queen competition is back back, back again for 2021.
Kicking off on Friday 5th November, you’ll be able to live your Drag Race fantasy each and every Friday for 4 weeks at Mary’s Poppin.
We bring you Super Queen 2021, an elimination-style contest where we will be searching for the most well-rounded drag artist in SA. Just like Rupaul’s Drag Race, expect there to be twists, turns and fierce competition to set the stage on fire!
Expect the artistes to show the audience their beauty, humor, stage presence and so much more by serving you all their talents as a part of the many unique challenges and lip-syncs that we have in-store. Each week will be a surprise to the audience for what’s to come but expect the most over-the-top slice of fantasy you could imagine… Remember we’re looking for the best! These challenges make our artists’ creativity shine.
Our reigning Queen Thermodynamics will pass the crown to our 2021 superstar, in a fabulous finale event.
4 mesmerising heats will be taking place on each Friday for one artist to take the Super Queen Crown culminating in a headline performance at the inaugural Queens Gala at The Great Hall on Saturday 27th November.
